Head of Continuous-Improvement (w/m/d)
Your key responsibilities
You will be responsible for enhancing the productivity of the Regensburg site through the development and execution of a comprehensive medium- to long-term plan. Your primary focus will be on streamlining processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and driving sustainable improvements across all operational areas.- Lead cost reduction and profitability initiatives
- Optimize product portfolio and rationalize production capacity
- Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and operational performance
- Strengthen quality and safety standards
- Enhance customer service levels
- Drive the site’s master plan for continuous improvement
- Define KPIs and implement monitoring systems to track progress and impact on P&L
- Promote lean thinking and support a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with site leadership on cost-saving initiatives and organizational transformation
Your profile
- University degree or equivalent in Operations, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
- Proven track record in leading transformative operational initiatives within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- In-depth expertise in lean methodologies, including Voice of the Customer, process efficiency, performance management, organizational development, and behavioral change
- Strong knowledge of transformation frameworks, including preparation, diagnostics, future state design, tactical implementation planning, execution, and continuous improvement
- Experienced in designing and establishing continuous improvement (CI) structures and leveraging business intelligence tools
- Excellent project management, team leadership, and coaching skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Fluent in German and proficient in English
